The professional basketball B1 league “Yokohama B-Corsairs” has recently announced the dates for the 2021-22 season. The opening season will be against Kawasaki Brave Thunders on Saturday, October 2nd and Sunday, October 3rd. The venue is Kawasaki City Todoroki Arena. Until May 2010, the final round, the top eight teams will compete in the championship.
Yokohama B-Corsairs has renewed its team structure for the new season. Ken Takeda, who retired last season, became the general manager, and Hayato Aoki, who commanded the team in the 15-16 and 16-17 seasons, was appointed as the head coach again. Continuing from last season, Shusuke Ikuhara will be appointed captain and will lead the new team with new players.
The opening season of the home arena at Yokohama International Pool is October 16th (Sat) and 17th (Sun) against Sun Rockers Shibuya. The final section of the season will be the Niigata Albirex BB match on May 7th (Sat) and 8th (Sun) next year, and the venue will be City Hall Plaza Aore Nagaoka.
Play a total of 60 games with 10 clubs in your area and 40 games in the 4th round and 20 games in the 2nd round with 10 clubs in other areas. After the end of the season, the promotion from B2 to B1 is 2 clubs and there is no demotion from B1.
