“We’ll see,” Boone replied when asked if Frazier will play again one day. He met a lot of specialists and carried out a lot of tests. We will continue to support it as best we can. There seems to be a pattern right now. He feels good today. We’ll see. ”

Frazier, 26, began a conditioning stint in the minors last Tuesday, after missing six weeks with lightheadedness and vertigo symptoms. He’s been 4-for-10 in three games, but Boone mentioned that Frazier didn’t feel good until Sunday’s game at AA level and he asked to be taken out of roster.

Frazier’s fitness trip officially ended on Monday and his name was moved to the long-term injured list.

Frazier has been on the sidelines since 1is July. He missed almost the entire 2018 season due to persistent concussion symptoms. It is not known if his current situation is related to the same problem.

The Cleveland Indians’ first-round pick in 2013, Frazier did well at batting in 2019, but was relegated to the AAA level due to deficiencies in defense.

He eventually made a comeback in the Majors in 2020 and shone. He maintained a .267 average and did well on defense, playing both left and right field. His performances have earned him a regular role in 2021.

His statistics have taken a nosedive this season. In 66 games before being sidelined, Frazier was averaging .186 with five homers.
