If there is a precarious job in the NBA, it is that of coach. As in the previous two offseason, there have been a lot of changes at the head of NBA franchises, so much so that since the end of the 2018-19 season, no less than 21 of the 30 franchises have changed coaches! Unless you call each other Gregg Popovich Where Erik Spoelstra, no real job security. The two have been in office the longest: almost 25 years for Pop, 13 years for Spoelstra. Rick Carlisle, who had been with the Mavs since May 2008 left his post in the direction of the Pacers, and now the 3rd coach to have been at the head of the same team for the longest time is Steve Kerr, who came to head the Warriors in 2014.
