Vietnamese delegation returns from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games | Culture-Sport

Hanoi (VNA) – The remaining 26 members of the Vietnamese delegation that participated in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will return to the country today, according to the Nhan Dan (People) newspaper.

According to an official source, the members of the delegation will take a flight operated by a Japanese airline. The plane is expected to land in Hanoi at 9:50 p.m. (Vietnam time).

The flight includes delegation leader Tran Duc Phan, deputy head of the National Sports and Physical Education Administration, and members of the boxing, swimming, athletics, badminton and archery teams. Referees Bui Dinh Cuong, gymnastics, and Nguyen Pham Duy Anh, badminton, also return on the flight.

Previously, almost half of the delegation of Vietnamese athletes who participated in the largest international sporting event returned to the homeland.

The Tokyo Olympics 2020 will end on August 8th. /.
