Damian Lilard, a Portland “Trail Blazers” player for the National Basketball Association (NBA), called himself the best rap performer in the league in an interview with Complex News.
Rap and basketball have been closely linked for decades. Basketball players love this style of music, and not only listen, but also record their own compositions. One of the most striking examples is NBA legend Shakill O’Nills, who has five rap albums and his debut album Shaq Diesel has been given platinum status, which means that more than 10 million copies have been sold worldwide.
However, Lilards believes that he is the best rapper among basketball players. “I have no doubt about that. Shak was fine. Yes, we had a little argument and many think we don’t like each other. But I really think so. People say, “Shak had platinum albums.” But he is a superstar. It had to happen in those times, ”says Lilards.

“Now everything is different, now everyone records the rap. Of course, I would like to achieve the same result. But when people listen to all his songs and then all my songs, they say that Deims is the best rapper among basketball players, ”said the American.
Lilard has his own rap project called “Dame DOLLA”. The basketball player has recorded four albums, the last of which entitled “Different On Levels The Lord Allowed” was released on August 20 this year.
