The Magic won the Golden State Warriors overtime in the Las Vegas tournament with a score of 91:89 (20:18, 19:22, 20:27, 24:16, 8: 6).
Timma was chosen by the Grizzlies of Memphis in the 2013 draft with the number 60, but a couple of years later “Magic” won the right to them. Only on Monday, at the age of 29, Timma made his debut in the NBA Summer League as a “Magic” player, but in 2013 he played in the “Grizzlies” team in this tournament.
The Latvian basketball player took part in the game from the reserve bench and spent 16 minutes and nine seconds on the field, during which he realized three of the five long shots and both two two-point shots. He also had six rebounds, one assists, one interception, two block throws, one error, two notes and the team’s fourth best +/- score (+19).
The fifth number of this year’s draft was marked by Jane Sagss with 24 points and nine rebounds, but 12 points were awarded to Ignas Brazdeikis, a dual citizen of Lithuania and Canada.
Opponents scored 16 points in this year’s draft with Jonathan Cuming in seventh place.
It has already been reported that Angie Paschnikik scored nine points for the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday, helping to beat the Chicago Bulls 94:77.
The NBA Summer League in Las Vegas will end on August 17th.
