The Giorgio Tesi Group will make its league debut on Sunday 3 October at Casale Monferrato. The National Basketball League has unveiled the first day of the Green and Red groups, while this afternoon will announce the complete calendar. The red and white will debut away and on this point we are divided between those who argue that playing the first away game can represent an advantage and those who, on the other hand, think that it is better to start in front of their own public (albeit with capacity reduced, currently at 35%, ed). A debate that recurs at every start of the championship and where in the end everyone remains of their own idea. There is still time to discuss the subject because the season has yet to officially start and then there is a whole presesason to play. In this regard, the red and white will meet in the morning of August 19th at PalaBertolazzi for the first day of the meeting and afterwards they will start working with the trainers and the technical staff.

On Saturday 28 August at La Spezia, the first season outing of the Giorgio Tesi Group that will face Turin in a friendly match. Back on the field on Wednesday, September 1, again at 18 this time in Florence for another friendly test against Rieti. A few days of rest and Saturday 4 September at 7 pm the red and white will be on stage in Pistoia for a friendly match against Forlì. After the series of friendly tests, Sunday 12 September we start with the first official match, where the two points come into play and begin to count. Pistoia will go down to Trapani-Pistoia for the first Supercoppa match, then replicated in Pistoia on Wednesday 15 September against Capo d’Orlando again for the Supercoppa and then on Sunday 19 September the match against Chiusi.

A busy schedule that will lead the team to acquire the best physical condition day after day in view of the start of the season. In the meantime, work is continuing to complete the team’s roster at the red and white home. The long American is missing from the appeal, a four able to fit perfectly with Daniele Magro, and above all that is functional to the game wanted by coach Brienza and another long, young man, able to lend a hand during the week and who can maybe, get to grips with a category like C Silver in order to be ready in case the need arises.
