Faced with a Le Mans team which aims for the top of the table in N2, the C’Chartres BM, changed to 70% in the offseason, won this Thursday evening (quarter-time: 27-22, 22-16, 24 -13, 10-24), despite a last quarter overused by the men of Sébastien Lambert.
JALT was deprived of its star rookie Alain Koffi who, at 37, has just ended his professional career with a last season at MSB Le Mans (ProA).
The best scorer in Chartres of the evening was the American rookie Steven Green, who comes from Andrézieux, author of 29 points.
The CCBM will play again at home, Sunday, August 29 (3:30 p.m.), against Evreux (ProB).
