St. Pauli against HSV: Makienok double pack – Derby-Gau – Bundesliga

What a crazy game. In the 106th derby, FC St. Pauli beats local rivals HSV 3-2 at Millerntor in front of 10,000 spectators and defends the city championship again. And the fans are celebrating a giant by storm: Simon Makienok, double scorer.

Derby disaster for HSV!

Great tension before the derby. Surprisingly, two weren’t even there. HSV without Jeremy Dudziak, who has contract talks going on. St. Pauli without Maximilian Dittgen, whose wife is expecting their second baby.

The first half – a clear thing for St. Pauli. The Kiez kickers are approaching the HSV box piece by piece. Guido Burgstaller with a post-strokeer (21st), but then with super preparatory work for Finn Ole Becker, who puts the Ösi’s cross into the goal with his knee to make it 1-0 (27th).

The balance was surprising. David Kinsombi sends Bakery Jatta, who serves Sonny Kittel perfectly, who only has to push in to make it 1: 1 (43rd). St. Pauli’s first goal of the season after 223 minutes. After the break, HSV suddenly got better at the game. Jatta wants a penalty against Medic, but does not get it (53rd). Excitement at the HSV bank, but the VAR does not intervene.

Then the hour strikes for St. Pauli’s storm giant Makienok (2.01 meters). The Dane first nibbles on Jonas David, scores to 2: 1 (56th). Only two minutes later: Again the longest man escaped on the pitch, moving dryly into the short corner after Medic preparatory work – 3: 1 (58th).

The HSV defends itself desperately against the next derby disaster, comes up again through Glatzel (76th) – but it is not enough for more. For new coach Tim Walter, who won three times against St. Pauli with Stuttgart and Kiel, it is the first defeat against the Kiez-Klub.
