Arma di Taggia (IM) – Despite the very heavy moment for sport due to Covid 19 which does not allow you to let your guard down and imposes many limits on the performance of competitive activities, the international Federations organize tournaments that have great importance in European field, such as the various European Cup tournaments involving athletes from the Cadet, Juniores and Seniores classes.
The Judo Club Sakura Arma di Taggia asd has a Junior athlete, Lorenzo Rossi, year 2002, weight Kg. + 100, who is facing the competitions of the European Junior Cup and, after having participated on 4/7/2021 to that of Coimbra (Portugal), in the ranks of the Italian junior national team, where he obtained an excellent fifth place, on Thursday 12 August he will take part in the European Cup in Udine, the last stage of the circuit before the U21 European Championships (9-12 September in Luxembourg) and the U21 World Championships (6-10 October in Olbia).
Lorenzo Rossi, assisted by his gym mate Samuele Della Torre, senior Kg. + 100, also an athlete accustomed to international competitions in which he obtained many good results, continued training closely, constantly followed by the Technical Teachers Alberto and Alessio Ferrigno, who comment: “Lorenzo’s training was excellent, no preparation phase, neither technical nor competitive, was left out and now we hope that the results reward all the work done.”
