Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick in this weekend’s Bundesliga match. The Polish striker has now collected 301 goals for Bayern Munich.

Bayern host Hertha Berlin in the third week of the 2021/2022 German League at the Allianz Arena, Saturday (28/8/2021) night WIB. The Reds ended the match with a landslide victory 5-0.

Lewandowski became a star in the Bayern vs Hertha match. The 33-year-old striker scored a hat-trick in the 34th, 70th and 84th minutes. Thomas Mueller (6′) and Jamal Musiala (49′) contributed two other goals from the hosts.

Lewandowski’s second goal against Hertha became a record in itself. It was his 300th goal in a Bayern shirt, recorded in a span of seven years.

Robert Lewandowski has so far scored 301 goals in 333 appearances for Bayern Munich in all competitions. He is the second top scorer of all time The Reds, only lost to the late Gerd Mueller who had a record 523 goals.

Not only that, Lewandowski also hasn’t stopped breaking into the opponent’s goal in the German League. The 2020 European Golden Shoe winner has always scored in 13 consecutive league appearances since 15 February 2021.

This number is a separate achievement that is inscribed by Lewandowski. He is just three games away from reaching the record of Gerd Mueller, who has scored in 16 consecutive Bundesliga games.

Lewandowski has also scored goals in Bayern’s 16 games in all competitions. He equaled the record set by Gerd Mueller in the 1969-1970 season.
