Potosinos advance in the Archery World Cup – El Sol de San Luis

The activity of the World Archery Championship began in the city of Wroclaw, Poland, where the Potosinos Marisol de León and Rodrigo Olvera, advanced to the next round, after avoiding the qualifying phase and placing themselves on the main graph in the Archery modality Composed in the Cadet and Junior categories respectively.

After two qualifying rounds, Rodrigo Olvera, finished in 13th place, after accumulating a score of 694 units, 8 points behind the first place that was the North American Cole Frederick.

For her part, Marisol de León settled in 21st place, with a mark of 665 points; 31 units behind who finished as leader of the classification Priya Grujar from India who closed her rounds with 696 points.

In the first round of the key, Olvera passed BYE to the next phase, where he awaits the rival who will come out of the duel between Taras Tryfanou from Ukraine and Brazilian Gabriel Nogueira; while De León will face British Hallie Boulton in his first match.

In the team modality in the Junior category, Olvera will be doing trident with Sebastián García and Luis Ledezma; Marisol de León will be part of the Women’s Cadet team with Adriana Castillo and Selene Rodríguez.
