Patriots send aid to Haiti after earthquake and hurricane

After earthquake of more than 7 degrees on the Richter scale that struck Haiti last week, the New England Patriots they decided to send their private plane with humanitarian aid to the Caribbean country. They sent food and medical support for those affected by the catastrophe, as revealed by the CBS.

The plane withwas supported by two orthopedic surgeons, three doctors and a nurse, who were boarding the flight to Haiti. Build Health International collected the relief items, while the Patriots owner, Robert Kraft, lent the plane to transport them.

The governor of Massachusetts, Charlie Baker thanked Robert Kraft and the NFL organization for helping the Caribbean country that is suffering from the effects of nature.

NFL planes used for the purpose of helping

It is not the first time that a private plane belonging to an NFL team has been used to provide humanitarian aid., since throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, multiple purposes have been achieved: delivery of shipments of N-95 masks brought from China (performed by Robert Kraft himself) and the transport of half a million vaccines to El Salvador, to mention a few.
