“Our goal is still to enter the four”

Stockolmo won again. He did it against Miramar and served to cut the streak of three consecutive losses. After the victory of the Prado blue, Básquet Total went to talk with one of its figures, Nicolás Pereyra, key in the most difficult moments of the night.

Nico’s first thing was a feeling of relief: “It is a very important victory because we had just lost three consecutive games. It was very important to win, apart from the team we have we needed the point to gain confidence and luckily we were able to do it ”.

Again Arregui got complicated early with fouls and it was one of the things that complicated Stockolmo. This Pereyra said about it: “It is one of the disadvantages we have, we don’t have many options there and when the big boys are charged with fouls they start to complicate us. But we were able to contain it well, with Tony (Danridge) lending a hand down there we were able to do it in a good way ”.

Despite the victory, it was not a good day for the Prado blue from beyond 6.75, but they still managed to find a return to the game: “We knew it was going to be a very tough game and even until the end. In the last quarter we were able to run the court, especially in the second half in general we were able to do it and there we got the final advantage ”.

Finally, Pereyra referred to what this triumph represents for the group: “The consecutive defeats were very hard but today was a very important game from the point of view of the spirit and hopefully we can continue like this. The objective is still to get between the four, but we have to go match by match, analyzing the other results and keep trying to get there ”.
