New York, Aug. 30, LETA. Latvia’s first women’s tennis racket Alona Ostapenko has withdrawn from the US Open, according to the competition website.

The world-ranked 30th racket Ostapenko, who was numbered in the tournament with the 27th number, had to meet the Argentine Nadja Podoroski (WTA 37th) in the first round, but currently the Latvian tennis player cannot be found in either single-player or double-player “branches”.
