El SK Brann, a top-flight Norwegian football team founded in 1908, has been punctuated by a sex scandall starring a group of players from his first squad. According to various local media, a dozen footballers would have held a party inside the team’s stadium, in which they would have held sex with four women.
The orgy at the Brann stadiumAccording to the Norwegian media, it took place last Monday, after the team played a friendly match. At the end, several footballers got together for dinner in a restaurant and then went to the stadium, where they continued the party drinking alcohol with several women.
Security cameras recorded several players holding sexual relations with the guests inside the stadium, some images in which they also appear running in their underwear on the lawn, reported the Bergensavisen newspaper,
The episode led to the condemnation of the directive for violating the sanitary rules related to the pandemic and the club internal regulations, but SK Brann announced that there will be no sanction for them. “They violated the internal rules, they have apologized and understood the seriousness of what happened, but we have to move on. None will be set aside. The last few days have been punishment enough, ”explained Managing Director Vibeke Johannesen.
The Norwegian Police, however, has opened this Friday a investigation for a possible sex crime. In statements to the Bergensavisen newspaper, the Police explained that there is an aggrieved person and at least one suspect, but there are still no arrests. “We have not received any complaint, but based on the information received and our own investigations, we believe that there is a basis to investigate whether something punishable has happened,” the police of Bergen, the city where Brann plays, said in a statement.
Founded in 1908, Brann has three Norwegian league titles to its name, the last one won in 2007.
