Elena-Gabriela Ruseová (WTA 108)
The Romanian tennis player has never penetrated the elite hundred and had to compete in the US Open in qualification, in which she gradually eliminated Cepede, Narova and Di Sarro. Except for one lost tie-break in the opening round, she won quite smoothly and thus probably brought in good form.
Recently in Cincinnati eliminated in the first round Tereza Martincova. Ruse ‘s biggest success this year is the finals at the clay tournament in Palermo, which she also won as a qualifier.
So far, she has played in grand slams only twice at Wimbledon, but has not won the main competition.
