NBA: Stars reckon with Golden State Warriors: “Destroyed everything” – US sport

Rumms!

NBA star Kevin Durant (32 / Brooklyn Nets) has settled together with ex-teammate Draymond Green (31 / Golden State Warriors) in an interview with his ex-team Golden State Warriors.

“Bob Myers (General Manager, d. Ed.) Just thought that he could make everything forget by punishing you,” said Durant in an interview with “Bleacher Report”. Head coach Steve Kerr (55) is said to have acted similarly.

What happened? Durant and Green clashed in a season game against the Los Angeles Clippers in November 2018. The reason? Green had not played the ball on the superstar shortly before the end.

Durant defends Green. He criticizes those responsible for this: “Communication is the most important thing to me, but that did not happen and that – more than anything else – ultimately drove me away.”

Green takes a similar view of the situation and also criticized those responsible: “They (Kerr and Myers) put me in a room for 45 minutes or an hour and told me to apologize.”

Since Green did not apologize, he was eventually suspended from one game.

“I think they destroyed everything,” Green said, and Durant agrees. “I agree.”

Durant left the Warriors after the season and joined the Brooklyn Nets. Green, on the other hand, still plays in the San Francisco-based NBA franchise.
