Said restriction will apply to people who have named themselves as members of these groups. In addition, the Local Commission for Safety, Comfort and Coexistence in Football, will establish the mechanisms for the application of this resolution within the next ordinary meeting.

In this meeting, one of the tasks was the investigations to identify the people who participated in a violent way in the alteration that could be evidenced through the Video Surveillance System and the Unified Command Post in the Atanasio Girardot Stadium.

With these measures, the Mayor’s Office of Medellín will continue working for the “Culture of Soccer”, which has given excellent results among local bars and keeping the stadium in a safe space. “We regret the acts of violence that overshadowed the sporting event and we reiterate the invitation to live the football festival in peace, without incurring excesses and actions that affect coexistence,” the statement concluded.
