Man Utd: Varane eager to start

After ten years of loyal service, Raphaël Varane (28) has decided to leave Real Madrid for Manchester United. In the recovery phase, the French central defender is impatient to start his new adventure.

“I am very happy, very excited to start this new adventure. I have experienced very beautiful things with my old club, but it is now a new start for me. I am very happy to be here”, explained the tricolor world champion for the club’s official website.

The Blue has also confirmed to have been approached in 2011 by the British training. “I first heard rumors, a lot of people have been talking about me and Manchester United since 2011. Sir Alex Ferguson came to meet me at my mother’s house,” the former Lens player revealed.
