Man is tortured with a hot spoon to steal 25 pairs of tennis shoes from his residence in New York

In New York there was a violent robbery that, in addition, had many curiosities. This happened in a residential building near Franklin Avenue and East 168th Street in the Bronx, and involved 3 robbers with a violent, but particular action.

It is that once they entered the apartment, they tortured a man by burning him with a hot spoon and wrapped a woman in a sheet as if it were a mummy.

After raping the couple, they ransacked the apartment and took a safe, jewelry and approximately 25 pairs of shoes. The NYPD presumes it was not a random robbery, but rather that the thieves knew what they were going to find at that residence. It is unclear if they knew the victims.

As detailed in the portal NY Daily News, The three gloved intruders, their heads covered in hats and hooded sweatshirts, handcuffed the man, wrapped the woman in a sheet and dragged her to another room.

The robbers whipped the man with a gun while demanding to know where his safe was, police officers said. When he didn’t want to say it, they used a hot spoon to burn his left arm.

The criminals eventually ransacked the apartment and fled with the safe, some jewelry and 25 pairs of slippers, authorities said.

The trio fled in a white van that was last seen heading north on Franklin Ave., deputies said. No arrests have been made.

Doctors treated the man at the scene. The woman was not injured.
