It was at the second overtime hole that the result materialized. Anannarukarn (70) stalled a par on the 18th pennant to get the upper hand over American Emma Talley (70). They finished with a cumulative of 275 (-16).

Anannarukarn had seven birdies on her fourth day of work, but she also scored a triple boguey on her card as she passed through the sixth hole. She added a bug to the 16e.

The 22-year-old golfer previously showed third-place finish two weeks ago at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational as her best result. The one who began her career in the LPGA in 2019 has also finished three times in the top 10 in her career, in the last three events.

“Honestly, I’m just speechless,” said the champion in an interview for the LPGA. I really want to thank everyone who supported me on this journey, those who believed in me from the very beginning. I wouldn’t have gotten this far without them. ”

Anannarukarn and Talley shared the lead after three rounds with American Jennifer Kupcho. The latter, however, committed two bogeys in the last three holes to end the competition at 276 (-15).

Thailand’s Atthaya Thitikul (70) finished the tournament in fourth place with a total of 278 (-13). A trio of Americans Sydnee Michaels (67) and Mina Harigae (69) as well as South Korean Chella Choi (73) took fifth place.

No Canadian took part in this competition.
