La Liga will start the campaign the first week of September and 10 teams will participate.
The National League of Professional Basketball (LNBP) announced that it will start operations with 100 percent immunization against Covid-19.
Sergio Ganem, president of the League, said that from administrative positions to players are all already vaccinated, something that was achieved thanks to logistics with all those involved.
Some were vaccinated in the United States or other countries -where some players are from-, while Mexicans were immunized in different states. There was no resistance, and in the end everyone accepted the vaccine.
“We are today the only professional league in our country 100 percent vaccinated against Covid-19, this has been a great deployment, it was quite arduous logistics and coordination. We are talking about directives, team presidents, staff, coaches, players, statistical personnel, administrative staff, the engine of the league, we are 100 percent vaccinated ”, he pointed out.
