And they lost Enes Kanter. I don’t believe Lillard will be in Portland until the end of the season. By the trade deadline, I think Lady will be in Philadelphia.
Rumors of a No.0 arrival in Pennsylvania are nothing new, as the Sixers are actively looking to trade Ben Simmons on their side. And as the salaries of the two men are relatively close to each other, setting up an exchange would therefore be quite possible. Nevertheless, it is difficult to see what the Blazers would gain, the Australian being far from being confident at the moment.
Lillard on the contrary would join a very ambitious squad, and would form a formidable offensive duo with Joel Embiid. His propensity to shoot from a distance would be perfect to accompany the Cameroonian, who would have all the room he wants in the racket, something hardly possible with Simmons around.
