Kim Hee-gyeom, head of the Disaster and Safety Management Headquarters, visits the corona 19 vaccination site in Hwaseong-si and encourages officials and inspects the situation at the site.
[아시아경제(화성)=이영규 기자] On the afternoon of the 4th, Kim Hee-gyeom, head of the Disaster and Safety Management Headquarters of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, visited Hwaseong-si to check the Corona 19 quarantine and heat wave measures, and encouraged those involved.
Director Kim Jong-cheol, deputy mayor of Hwaseong, and Sang-deok Park, head of the social disaster division in Gyeonggi-do, Hong-seon Oh, director of Hwaseong City Urban Housing Bureau, Yeon-hee Kim, director of Hwaseong Health Center, and Bong-rim Jang, director of Dongtan Health Center, attended the site visit.
Director Kim first visited the immunization center installed at the Dongtan badminton court and the temporary screening test center installed at the Dongtan Public Health Center to encourage the officials, and then said, “In a situation where the number of confirmed COVID-19 patients is increasing recently, citizens are smoothly vaccinated to stabilize the spread of infection. Please do your best to make it happen.”
Then, he visited the construction site of the Osan-dong residential and commercial complex and inspected the measures against the heat wave at the construction site, such as ‘whether or not the safety rules for heat wave prevention were observed’.
At this meeting, Director Kim asked field officials to “abide by safety rules, such as taking sufficient rest in the shade and drinking water frequently to prevent heat illness from heat waves.”
