Judo from Mexico shines with 3 golds and 2 bronzes at the 2021 Pan American Cadet Championships

The members of the Mexican Judo National Team, Cadets category, had a great performance, where they shone by winning 5 medals in the Pan American Cadet Championships 2021, the last qualifying tournament for the first Junior Pan American Games Cali – Valle 2021.

The achievement of the Mexican judokas was recorded this Friday, the first day of competitions of the event that takes place in Cali, Colombia, which is organized by the Pan American Judo Confederation (CPJ).

According to the graphs of CPJ and the International Judo Federation (IJF), which were shared by the Mexican Judo Federation (FMJ), of the 7 national teams that made up the Cadet team, five of them managed to obtain medals of gold and bronze.

According to this list, the gold winners were Eduardo Sagastegui, -50kg; Ilse Martínez, -52 kg; and Bárbara Padilla in +70 kg.

Regarding the bronze metals, these were won by were Juan Pablo Ramírez, bronze in -60kg; Ariana de la Cruz.

For this weekend, it will be the turn of the members of the Youth team to step on the mat to bring out the Aztec breed against their rivals from 11 nations who attended this event.
