Deportivo Independiente Medellín fell 3-1 against Atlético Huila, for the seventh date in League II-2021. The Antioquia team had a weak game, while the opita team took advantage of the bad moment of those led by Hernán Darío Gómez and with goals from Brayan Moreno, Harlin Suárez from a penalty and Diego Arias they settled the lawsuit against the powerful who discounted through Diego Herazo.
At minute 4, Diber Cambindo had the first goal of the night, after a foray into the left sector, but his shot was deflected. Huila immediately reacted through Andrés Amaya, but his shot was controlled by Andrés Mosquera Marmolejo.

The last minutes of the first half were controlled by the locals, who dominated the ball at will and attacked on the wings and in the center, although it lacked clarity. In Medellín there was a great decompensation, the team was very long and there were players who did not join the game such as Vladimir Hernández, Edwar López and the attackers Agustín Vuletich with Diber Cambindo.
In the complementary stage, Medellín made three changes: Javier Reina, Diego Herazo and Leonardo Castro entered instead of Edwar López, Diber Cambindo and Agustín Vuletich. For the huila, the scorer Brayan Hurtado came out and Adrián Parra entered.

Huila recovered the ball and tried to approach the powerful goal, but they were not accurate either.
At minute 34, a shot by Kevin Palacios from the left sector bounced off Juan Guillermo Arboleda’s hand, although the central referee Edison Ariza continued the play, the VAR called the referee and after a couple of minutes, he decreed to sanction the penalty . Harlin Suárez changed the free-kick for goal for the opita team, going back up on the scoreboard.
At the end, at minute 43 came the third goal for Atlético Huila by Diego Arias, who with his right leg left the visiting defense and goalkeeper Marmolejo without reaction. The red team adds their second defeat in the championship, while the opitas celebrate their first triumph in the championship.
