important dates, unmissable matches, it’s here!

It is ready, it is official: the calendar for the 2021-22 season has finally fallen! A season which, we hope, will have 82 games, for the first time in two years, and which will therefore logically extend from October 19 to mid-April. Without further ado? Focus on the schedule… of the Orlando Magic!

A red pen in one hand, the calendar of your favorite franchise in the other, and you take notes in your TrashTalk Diary

A trip to San Antonio then six games in the East to start the season, a big road-trip of death in early December with the visit of California in particular, an end of the civil year in civil war mode with the Bucks, twice, the Heat, the Bulls, the Celtics and the Sixers on the program and a quieter final stretch from mid-March. Let’s be honest, we’ve raised our eyebrows several times at the Magic schedule, at the heat of the match-ups, but it’s mostly because, potentially, Jamahl Mosley’s team will not be favorite any night of the season or almost.

# Plus long road-trip : five games (Hawks, Knicks, Nets, Bucks and Bucks in November, Rockets, Warriors, Kings, Clippers and Lakers in December)

# Longest home session: six games (Wolves, Sixers, Nets, Pistons, Thunder and Warriors, March 11-22)

# National matches: 3 (too many?)

# Nombre de back-to-backs : 15, record NBA

# Number of early meetings in France: 3 (@Clippers, December 11 at 9:30 p.m., vs. Memphis on February 5 at 11 p.m., vs. Sixers on March 13 at 11 p.m.)

# Some posters to remember: October 22 against the Knicks to celebrate Evan Fournier, October 29 in Toronto to find out who of the Magic or the Raptors made the right choice in the Draft, November 26 against Chicago to celebrate Nikola Vucevic and December 1 against the Nuggets for don’t celebrate Aaron Gordon.
