In the absence of 28 days for the first leg between Barcelona SC and Flamengo by semifinal of the Copa Libertadores de América, Jorge Jesus, former coach of the Mengao winner of five titles, including the Copa Libertadores 2019, the Brasileirao 2019 and the Recopa Sudamericana 2020, has already put his former team back in the grand final of the most prestigious club tournament in South America.
Five cups in twelve months was the balance left by the Portuguese, currently on the bench of Benfica in his country.
The strategist belittled the only non-Brazilian team qualified for this instance, assuring that he knows them well for having faced them in the group stage of the Libertadores 2020. In addition, he maintains that Flamengo “had a bit of luck.”
