Hobbies. In Oltingue, three evenings to learn badminton from this Monday, August 23

It is not the Covid-19 pandemic nor the successive confinements that will get the better of the desires of the badminton club V3F to open a section in the Sundgauvian village of Oltingue. At the end of October 2020, President Thierry Stempfel’s team had organized discovery evenings in the village school. But the last one could not take place, indoor sport no longer had a voice …

The badists of the Three Borders, already present in Village-Neuf, Saint-Louis, Hésingue and Attenschwiller, are therefore putting the table back on the table and inviting those interested to come and discover this racquet sport during three evenings. They will take over the multipurpose hall on Monday 23, Wednesday 25 and Friday 27 August, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The equipment – snowshoes and shuttlecocks – will be provided.

The idea is to see if a badminton section can open in this area. Slots are already available on Tuesdays and Fridays in the sundgauvienne room. This section is intended for adults wishing to practice badminton as a hobby, but also for those who would like to compete (Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.). “Mini-bad” slots for children aged 5 to 8 (Friday from 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.), a badminton school for 9 to 16 years old (Tuesday from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and a senior section ( over 50, Friday from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) are possible.

AND ALLER Badminton discovery evenings, August 23, 25 and 27 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Oltingue multipurpose room, 25, rue de Fislis. Information from Thierry Stempfel at 06.18.05.39.53.
