The Santiago sports family is shocked by the sad news of the death of Eng. Lucio Costa Mayuli, leader and former table tennis player.
Don Lucio was a promoter of this sport in Santiago del Estero and northern Argentina. He also collaborated notably with the press for the diffusion of the ping-pong competitions and the tenimesistas of the province.
The North Association mourned his death with heartfelt words in his tribute: “Lucio Costa Mayuli was a pioneer in provincial table tennis and passionate about the sport, and it is thanks to that passion and tireless struggle that we are here today, each of us we are part of this association we owe that to him. We owe him table tennis and being part of a generous, loving and supportive community that crosses provincial and national borders ”.
