Full of enthusiasm, Errol Spence Jr is ready to beat Manny Pacquiao : Okezone Sports

DALLAS – United States boxer, Errol Spence Jr., looks at his duel with world boxing legend, Manny Pacquiao. Claiming to be ready to fight, Spence is now looking forward to the grand duel that will be held at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, Saturday, August 21, 2021.

In fact, Spence admitted that he admired Pacquiao’s figure. He also paid great respect to the Filipino fighter.

The admiration came as Spence watched the 40 -year -old Pacquiao from the side of the ring as he defeated defending champion Keith Thurman in 2019. However, the Dallas -born fighter will put aside his admiration and respect for Pacquiao. Because, he wants to beat the legend and win.

“I can definitely punish a legend. As soon as the bell rings, respect will be upon me. I’m the king of welterweight,” Spence said.

Spence, who has a record of 27 wins through 21 knockouts (KO), was doubtful that he could return to his best form. Because, he had a terrible car accident in October 2019.

However, the boxer who has never lost in his career answered all doubts. Spence beat former world champion in both classes, Danny Garcia.

As Spence was sitting and enjoying his win over Garcia, his cell phone rang and he was told that Manny Pacquiao was interested in fighting him. Only a few months later, it materialized.

The reigning IBF and WBC welterweight champion has confirmed that he will fight Pacman – nicknamed Pacquiao – in Las Vegas. Now, the preparations continue.

“I’m very happy to be in this position,” said the left-handed boxer.

“This is definitely the defining battle of my career. He is a future legend in this sport.”

The 177 cm tall man is said to be getting help from Floyd Mayweather Jr, Pacquiao’s eternal rival. Recently, Mayweather said he would support Spence 100% and give him tips to beat the Pacman he beat in May 2015.
