The French team won the Olympic bronze in the Tokyo 2020 women’s basketball tournament, this Saturday in Saitama, by beating Serbia 91-76 in the match for third place.
The players led by Valerie Garnier, who fell to Japan on Friday in the semifinals, were able to recover psychologically against Serbia, which had won the European final against France itself a month and a half ago, achieving the 29th medal for the country in these Games.
