DFB-Pokal: VfL Wolfsburg is threatened with subsequent failure due to substitution errors

In terms of sport, VfL Wolfsburg had fought their way into the second round of the DFB Cup in Münster. Due to a mistake, however, the end still threatens.
VfL Wolfsburg is threatened with a subsequent out of the DFB Cup due to a mistake in the 3-1 win after extra time at Preussen Münster.
The new coach Mark van Bommel changed a total of six times, which is not allowed according to the DFB statutes. Three changes in regular time were followed by three more in overtime. The exchange between Admir Mehmedi and Maximilian Philipp in the 103rd minute was illegal.

A report by the kicker According to the Wolfsburg officials, they even asked the fourth official about this, but the latter did not stop the change. Referee Christian Dingert is said to have noted the substitution error in the game report.
If Münster protests, the game could be counted in favor of the hosts. Wolfsburg has not yet issued a statement.
Central defender Marcel Hoffmeier had taken the surprising lead for the long-time strong fourth division club after a corner (74th). Josip Brekalo equalized for the disappointing cup winner in 2015 (90th). Striker Wout Weghorst (103rd) and Ridle Baku (120th + 1) met in the heated extra time to win the tremor for VfL.
