Cursed to Golf will combine roguelike, golf and cards when it arrives on PC and Switch in 2022

Publisher Thunderful Publishing and developer Chuhai Labs today announced Cursed to Golf, an adventure pixel art in two dimensions in which we will have to leave purgatory with blows from golf. This peculiar title will be launched next year on PC and Nintendo Switch.

On Cursed to Golf we put ourselves in the shoes of the Cursed Golfer, a professional of this sport who has been trapped in purgatory after missing an important shot. Now I will have to pass a series of tests throughout more than 100 holes sorted randomly if you don’t want to be stuck there forever. Of course, if you exceed par for the hole, you will have to start over from the beginning, as good roguelike.

Over 20 booster cards

Throughout these two-dimensional scenarios we will face obstacles specific to each of the four biomes available in the game. In all of them we will find difficulties beyond the usual bunkers and difficult areas, since “they are also full of strange obstacles such as high-powered fans, spikes, TNT boxes, teleporters and a lot of other things”, according to the official description of the I play on your Steam page.

To combat that handicap, Cursed to Golf has a system of booster cards that allows us to alter the rules of the game in our favor. Between the more than 20 skills Available we find some like Scatter Blow, 180 Turn, Rocket Ball or Mulligan. We can also use our Bird’s Eye View to review the entire scene before taking the first hit.

In addition to its main mode, this game will also feature a daily challenge mode, mini-games, online leaderboards, and a retro-style soundtrack. Get, as we said, to PC and Nintendo Switch on 2022. Below these lines you can see a guys with your first pictures.
