The South American Qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup are back! Conmebol confirmed the schedule that the 10 South American teams will have in the month of September, after FIFA’s approval of having six games in the next two months, after the commitments were postponed in March due to the health emergency of COVID-19 which lived one of its highest peaks on the continent.
The matches will be played on Thursday 2, Sunday 5 and Thursday 9 September. The Colombia National Team will play its first two games as a visitor facing Bolivia in La Paz and Paraguay in Asunción and will close the triplet at home against the Chilean National Team at the Roberto Meléndez Metropolitan Stadium.
Thus, on the FIFA Date in October, the team led by technical director Reinaldo Rueda will play away from home against Uruguay in Montevideo and will have two games in Barranquilla against Brazil and Ecuador.
