Yet agreeing on the terms of his contract with Chelsea, Jules Koundé is still very far from arriving in the Premier League, Sevilla FC expects more from the Blues. The reigning European Champion had offered nearly € 30M + Kurt Zouma, the board of the Spanish club categorically refused this offer. According to the Daily Mail, Seville would ask for more than € 70m for the young central defender, trained at the Girondins de Bordeaux.
Chelsea could not however afford to meet the demands of the Sevillan club, especially as the Blues are expected to pose nearly € 120m for Romelu Lukaku. The negotiations have therefore slowed down in recent days, the London club could return to the charge by reformulating their offer: Kenedy as well as an additional sum of money.
Note that Koundé would favor an arrival at Real Madrid, however the Madrid club can not respond favorably to the financial requirements of Sevilla FC.
