César Hernández took the first with the White Sox

Adjusting to a new team can be difficult. But César Hernández has liked the change in the air wonderfully.

This Friday the Venezuelan dispatched his first blow with the uniform of the White Medis, who beat the Cubs 8-6.

Hernandez’s hit came in the eighth, off jury Kyle Ryan, and he drove in two to extend Chicago’s lead to 4-1.

Although Chicago managed to tie in the bottom of the eighth, the White Sox sealed their win with four touchdowns in the 10th.

Brian Goodwin dispatched his seventh hit of the year and Gavin Sheets and Tim Anderson contributed a pair of singles to the left field.

Hernandez went 3-1 with two walks and two RBIs to bring his overall average to .237. However, since the infielder came to the Chicago league for .350.

In his first seven games with the White Sox, he has eight hits and 11 RBIs.
