Bavaria hot for Salzburg’s shooting star

FC Bayern Munich has its eye on Salzburg’s top scorer Karim Adeyemi. The 19-year-old was already a junior player at Bayern.

Karim Adeyemi is currently overshadowing other strikers in the Bundesliga. The Bulls’ new shooting star has already scored seven goals after seven competitive games. No wonder that other clubs in Europe are vying for the mega talent. Among other things, ex-club Bayern Munich.

In 2011, Adeyemi was eliminated from the youngsters of the German record champions, a good ten years later he has been the top performer of the Mozartstadt team since this year. According to a report by “Sport1”, the native of Munich will probably want to switch to a big league by summer 2022 at the latest. His contract in Salzburg runs until 2024, as reported by the “transfermarkt” portal, even without an exit clause.

Market value tripled

Adeyemi switched to the bulls from SpVgg Unterhaching in the summer of 2018 for around 3.4 million euros. In 57 competitive games so far, he has scored 17 goals. Its current market value is around EUR 10 million.

A move back home, to a club like Bayern, could be the next logical step …
