Barclay John Treso, age 44, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 1, 2021. He was born on September 8, 1976, in Lestock, SK, the son of Rosemarie and John Treso. Barclay is survived by his loving wife Leanne; one son Dakota; two daughters Tanisha and Keniyah; his beloved granddaughter Scarlet; his mother and father, Rosemarie and John Treso; sister Melody (Calvin); brother Travis (Robin); nephew Cade; niece Belle; mother-in-law Catherine Olshanoski; brother-in-law Barry Olshanoski; sister-in-law Katrina Olshanoski; as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
He attended Lestock, Southey, La Ronge, and Canora Schools. Barclay graduated from Canora Composite High School, class of 1994. He loved his sports, all throughout his lifetime. Barclay competed on hockey and baseball teams in Lestock, starting at age 6. He loved scoring (whatever sport it might be). One fond memory is when he scored 14 points in a AA midget hockey game against the Brandon AA Wheat Kings. High school volleyball was one of his favourites, winning provincial championships in 1993 and 1994. Barclay played hockey, baseball, basketball, volleyball, track and field, tennis, golf, and others.
One of his loves was playing on the same hockey team as his son, Dakota.
Barclay enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, walks, and camping with Leanne. Good times followed Barclay, he was often the life of the party. He enjoyed chilling outside on the deck with his wife, family, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Hungarian Culture and Social Club, 1925 McAra Street, Regina, SK at 11:00 a.m. Lunch to follow.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Barclay
