These are hectic hours in the offices. With the great footballers concentrating on their national teams or training at a slow pace with their teams through the FIFA window of national teams, the negotiations take the spotlight in the last hours of a summer transfer market that is more intense than the previous ones.

There is a lot of work to be done in the clubs of the League. The most active and with the most pending duties is Barça, in need of giving way to footballers like Pjanic or Umtiti, a more than complex mission. The Bosnian midfielder intends to return to Juventus and in Turin they do not see his return with bad eyes, but a high record makes the operation difficult. No offer has arrived for the French center and its market is almost nil due to a physical condition that has stopped short what seemed like a promising race.

Ilaix Moriba and Emerson Royal are no longer on the Azugrana squad. The youth squad has already closed his departure to RB Leipzig, which pays 16 million euros plus six in variables as a transfer. Meanwhile, the Brazilian right-back is going to Tottenham after the agreement reached between both clubs, which establishes the payment of 25 million fixed euros plus another five in variables by the London club and that will allow the player to significantly increase his salary to three million net per season.

The last minute bomb could be in the reactivation of Griezmann’s departure to Atlético. The initial idea at the Camp Nou involved a possible exchange with Joao Félix, a possibility that was already raised in July although with Saúl Ñíguez as the target. Simeone’s lack of confidence in the Portuguese has led his agent, the well-known Jorge Mendes, to probe his departure, a circumstance in which it was in Barça’s interest to get rid of the Frenchman’s large record.

However, Atlético does not contemplate the possibility of parting with a player for whom it paid almost 130 million euros two summers ago and only accepts to negotiate for Griezmann without other players involved. Meanwhile, Saúl is still determined to leave the Metropolitan and throughout the day could close his departure to Chelsea.

In the midst of the madness of movements, which include the offer to Barça of the Uruguayan Edinson Cavani, without a place in Manchester United after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford, the Barça team has announced the reduction of the salaries of two heavyweights from the culé dressing room. Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba have agreed to lower their salaries in order to help alleviate the delicate financial situation of the club and allow Agüero to register.
