Attentive viewers of Rafael Nadal’s entry into the running in Washington against Jack Sock, the Americans Jennifer Brady and Jessica Pegula were very impressed by the Spaniard’s strength of resilience.
Again disabled and hampered by his left foot, Rafa often appeared limping between the points without ever giving up in the face of an audience almost totally committed to his cause despite the presence of a local on the other side of the net.
An attitude that particularly amazed the two players: “Nadal, one of the GOATs, limping, but struggling with everything he has to win this game. Nobody does better ”, what Brady added : « Idol ».
