The international referee, Alejandra Godoy, will travel to Mexico on Saturday to be part of the refereeing body for the Women’s U16 World Cup, qualifying for the World Cup in the category to be held in the city of Debrecen in Hungary between July 23 and 31 next anus.

The America Premundial contest will take place in the city of León, belonging to the state of Guanajuato in central Mexico.

It will be played between August 23 and 29 and will have the participation of the local Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, the United States and Puerto Rico.

Before the trip, Godoy spoke exclusively with Básquet Total about this new experience: “It is a very great happiness that I have for this opportunity to improve in professional basketball refereeing, although here it has improved, we are far from it anyway.”

On the opportunity he commented, “This allows meeting other high-level referees, generating different experiences and expectations, sharing with other referees.”
