Argentina reached 40! semifinalists in the Challenger Tour 2021

Argentine tennis has something to be excited about in the long term and it has been showing it so far in 2021 in Challengers tournaments: Juan Manuel Cerúndolo (148 °) and Facundo Mena (262 °) reached the semifinals in their respective tournaments. In this way, there are already 40 semifinalists from Argentina so far this year. The second, France with 33.

Cerúndlo defeated Filip Horansky (205 °) by 3-6, 6-1 and 7-5 in a great match, in almost two hours of play. This Saturday, he will seek the final in Meerbusch versus Botic Van De Zandschulp (121°).

Mena, meanwhile, beat Camilo Ugo Carabelli (302), in a duel between compatriots, by 6-3, 6-7 (6) and 6-1, in two hours and 20 minutes of match. This Saturday, he will face the Kazakh Dmitry Popko (181°) in the semifinals in Prague.

Argentina continues adding records in tournament of this category. With four months to go to close 2021, he wants to continue stretching these numbers.
