After the fight for Mbappe, Madrid and PSG pull Pogba

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) compete with each other in attracting high-end soccer players.

After Kylian Mbappe gave a signal to stay at PSG, Madrid’s ambitions were restrained. Now the two clubs are again involved in a feud in the player transfer market.

The two European giants both want the French national team midfielder, Paul Pogba, who is still in Manchester United’s costume.

Los Blancos and Les Parisiens both want Pogba in the transfer market at the beginning of the upcoming 2022/2023 season.

Pogba currently only has one year left on his contract at Man Utd and has the opportunity to leave the Old Trafford Stadium after July 2022.

Pogba is also allegedly not going to sign a new contract with Man Utd. The situation got the attention of Madrid and PSG.

Pogba has been linked with Madrid for several seasons. Meanwhile, at the beginning of the transfer market this season, it was PSG who were often reported to be targeting Pogba, before the arrival of Lionel Messi.

AS said Pogba was interested in joining Madrid, but PSG had the financial strength to pay Pogba more.

Pogba was originally named as one of the players that Man Utd would sell in the middle of this year to cover the purchase of Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane.

But the former Juventus player has not left and instead looked stunning in his inaugural Premier League match by contributing four assists in Man Utd’s 5-1 win over Leeds United.
