Abraham Ancer climbs positions on the PGA Tour and approaches the Top 10

Tras la agnica victoria de Abraham Ancer in the World Golf Championship FedEx St. Jude Invitational, the Mexican American golfer climbed to No. 11 on the PGA Tour world rankings.

Ancer earned his first title on the PGA Tour and achieved climb up to about twelve positions in the classification, since it was located in the twenty-third place before the championship.

In addition, Abraham Ancer is the fourth golfer of Mexican descent to achieve a win in the maximum golf circuit in the world, after Vctor Regalado, Csar Sanudo and Carlos Ortiz.

Ancer took over the tournament held in Memphis, Tennesee last Sunday after a tiebreaker against the Japanese Hideki Matsuyama and the american Sam Burns. The Mexican managed to make the putt at six feet on the second hole of the playoff, while Burns stayed very close on a putt at five and a half feet that sentenced the victory.
