On the 24th, Gumi City held a meeting with representatives of affiliated sports organizations belonging to the Gumi City Sports Association, which operates indoor sports facilities in the region to prepare special quarantine measures for the successful hosting of the national sports festival.
The meeting was attended by the directors of sports facilities such as Taekwondo, Wushu, and boxing, as well as representatives of bowling, billiards, and badminton.
The city of Gumi delivered a letter of appeal to the citizens of Corona 19 and asked them to cooperate in observing quarantine rules such as promoting quarantine measures in preparation for the national sports festival and maintaining a distance to prevent group infections.
Gumi City Sports Promotion Division Director Byun Byun-seok said, “As the national sports festival is about 40 days away, we hope that all local sportspeople, sports facility operators, and users will voluntarily comply with the quarantine rules to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”
