Four athletes from Busan will participate in the Tokyo Paralympic Games, which will start on the 24th.

According to the Busan Sports Association for the Disabled on the 13th, these four are Jogi-seong swimming (Busan Sports Association for the Disabled), Ki-tae Kim in table tennis (Busan Sports Association for the Disabled), Young-seon Lee in weightlifting (Busan Weightlifting Federation for the Disabled), and Seon-ae Lee in badminton (Merinol Hospital).

Jo Ki-young became the first Korean to win three gold medals at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games in the 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle.

Kim Ki-tae won two gold medals in the men’s singles and group table tennis at the 2018 Indonesian Paralympic Games in Indonesia.

Lee Young-sun and Lee Seon-ae won a silver medal in weightlifting 86 kg and a bronze medal in mixed doubles in badminton respectively at the 2018 Asian Para Games in Indonesia.

The Busan four will depart for Japan sequentially from the 18th in accordance with the game schedule for each event.
