The draw for the FIBA 2023 World Cup European Qualifiers will take place on Tuesday.
According to the statement of the Turkish Basketball Federation, besides Turkey, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Lithuania will participate in the World Cup European Qualifiers. Poland, Netherlands, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Ukraine, Belarus, Iceland, Latvia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Portugal, Slovakia and Sweden will compete.
As a result of the qualifying competitions, 12 countries from Europe will qualify to play in the FIBA 2023 World Cup, which will be held in Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines.
The qualifiers will start on November 22, 2021 and end on February 28, 2023.
