Barely eliminated from Afrobasket, men, Rwanda 2021, Cameroon is now turned towards the qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup. The groups for the Africa zone qualifying matches of the Basketball World Cup are known and the team of the Cameroon is already fixed on the opponents it will have to meet. Housed in group B, the lions will have a lot to do in South Sudan, Tunisia, Rwanda.

Group A: Cape Verde, Mali, Uganda, Nigeria
Group B: South Sudan, Cameroon, Tunisia, Rwanda
Group C: Ivory Coast, Guinea, Central African Republic, Angola
Group D: Kenya, Senegal, Egypt, DRC
